Psychotherapy may be covered by your extended health benefits, even though they are not covered by OHIP. I do not file insurance claims but I can provide you with a detailed receipt to seek reimbursement from your insurance plan. Many providers and plans cover the services of Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying), so it would be a good idea to double check with your insurance provider.
Some useful questions to ask include:
Do you cover Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying)?
How much am I covered for?
What is the maximum amount per session that I am covered for?

Late cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur half of the regular session fee.
No shows, or cancellations with less than 2 hours notice, will incur the full session fee
